Newforge Community Development Trust
A project supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
Newforge Community Development Trust (NCDT) is a newly formed Trust which will have responsibility for the EU Funded capital development and delivery of the EU Funded programmes at Newforge. NCDT Board Membership will comprise of representatives from PSNI; RUC Athletic Association; NI Fire & Rescue Service; NI Prison Service; An Garda Síochána; Sport Changes Life and 3 Governing Bodies of Sport. NCDT will be chaired by Peter Sheridan, Chief Executive of Co-Operation Ireland and will have 2 full time staff members, funded for 27 months, to manage the Peace & Reconciliation programmes.
